Mario de Grossi is a Fine-Art photographer, a painter and a filmmaker. Mario was born in Italy was educated in between Rome and London, and has also lived in Asia pursuing Art, Eastern Philosophy, Buddhism and lots of healthy fun. He has on and off lived in NYC. Mario is in development with two Feature Films to be shot in Rome in 2011. Room 666 is the second of 4 Shorts that will be completed by Autumn 2010 in New York.

YUKIKO MIYAWAKI in the role of MU


We at ‘Room 666’ are very fortunate to have Yukiko with us as she is a flawless Butoh performer of great talent. Yukiko Miyawaki was raised in Kobe, Japan, she studied dance at the National Ballet of Canada in Toronto for 2 years. Back in Japan she worked at Tokyo Disneyland as a stage dancer. After producing several dance shows in Tokyo, she came to New York to became a student of the Peridance Center International Program where she took ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop as well as working for various choreographers in NYC and was on tour in the US and Brazil. She began to choreograph her own solo performances while she trained Butoh dance. Butoh training made her take up acting with a passion. Yukiko also models and has appeared on All My Children.

SARAHANN WARD in the role of JOY


Sarahann born and raised in Michigan just dove in head first in the acting world studying Acting first with Sherly Baker. Soon after with Denise Botzki she took Meisner technique, MASK, Chekov Scene Work, Intensive Monologue Study, as well as stage Staged Theatre Combat. Sarahann is however a firm believer in learning from the pros on set. Her talent is unmistakably genuine and subtly nuanced. We are glad to have Sarahann with us for her excellent interpretative contribution to the character of Joy.

TASHA COURTNEY in the role GIULIA


Tasha natural subtle and extraordinary talent is a precious contribution to Room 666. At the University of Cincinnati she took Acting Technique with Michal Zecher, Donna McKenna and Aleta Chapelle. She also took Dance at Mary-Jo Menning Studios, the Cincinnati Ballet, Boone Co. HS and Contemporary Dance Center, Tasha is also a model.

DIANA HAN for the role of HOPE


Diana Han is a Korean actress of consummate empathic skill and an extraordinary capacity for subtle emotional range that evokes the unexpected. We at Room 666 are truly pleased she has agreed to be with us. Diana first majored in journalism at the University of Virginia and soon after she studied acting with Caroline Thomas at Total Theatre Lab. Diana is also a pianist of considerable talent.

BARBARA FRANCESCHI Casting Director and Actress in the role of JEAN


We are most grateful to Barbara who has helped to bring the project together. Barbara Franceschi is an actress, producer and casting director who has worked internationally in film, TV and theatre. She studied in Paris at the American University, at Jacques Lecoq Theatre School and at the Actors Centre in London. She toured Norway with “No Sex Please, We’re British” and can be seen in the BBC TV Miss Marple TV Series, “Nemesis. She was a co-producer and dialogue coach on the film “Nefertiti” produced by Challenge film and shot in Latvia with Ben Gazzara. She speaks English French, Italian and Spanish.

Brando Boniver after receiving classical training and in depth Stanislavsky method with Neil Smith attended Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, receptive to these teachings he is now demonstrating the greatest of natural and intuitive talent that will without any doubt be recognized as that of a great emerging actor, with the added bonus he can do it flawlessly in English, Italian and German. We are proud to have him on the cast of Room 666.
